Jake Differ
You know you’re at a “Jake” show when you find yourself riding in a square-wheeled truck, following the adventures of a brave flea, and then trying out a little hula dancing… and that’s just the grownups! Meet Juno nominee Jake Differ, whose musical, funny and highly interactive live performances have delighted family audiences all across Canada for many years. With Jake leading the way on guitar, flute and voice, everyone gets involved – singing, dancing, playing instruments and laughing the whole way through. Jake plays a great mix of up-tempo songs, many of which are audience favourites from his Parents’ Choice Award winning CDs. See you at the show… and don’t forget your hula skirt! www.musicbyjake.com

Leah Salomaa
Leah has released three successful family music recordings: “I Like to Rise, Family Folk Songs”, “Father Sun and Mother Moon, Soulful songs for Children” and “Under a Winter Star, Family songs for the Holidays”, under her independent label, girlfishmusic. Her cds sell across Canada in fine independent children’s bookstores, as well as being carried by Chapters/Indigo. Armed with the Irish bodhran and a crystal clear singing voice, Leah inspires children and parents to sing from their hearts and dance with their spirit. She has appeared in Chatalaine Magazine as one of Canada’s leading children’s performers, mentioned in Canadian Family and CityParent as a family favourite. www.girlfishmusic.com
