Home County would not be possible without the support of hundreds of community volunteers.
We generally ask for a minimum of nine hours over three days of the festival, broken into three 3 hour shifts. Home County Music and Art Festival is a great opportunity for high school students to get some of their 40 hours of mandatory community service, or for anyone looking for community experience in operating a dynamic, large scale event.
Our Commitment To You
We will respect you as a valuable member of our festival team. We will provide you with training, support and positive feedback. During your time as a volunteer we will offer you an experience that is fun, safe and memorable. Together we will make the Home County Music and Arts Festival a huge success.
Your Commitment To Us
As ambassadors and representatives of the festival, volunteers will behave respectfully, responsibly, courteously and professionally toward each other, artists, vendors and patrons. Volunteers will be friendly, gracious and reliable. Volunteers will honour all scheduled shifts and duties to the very best of their ability. Most importantly volunteers are encouraged to have fun, enjoy the festival, smile and spread the joy.
1. Attend all shifts as scheduled
2. Check in 15 minutes prior to the beginning of your shift
3. Wear weather appropriate clothing
4. Wear your festival T-shirt during all shifts
5. Bring only personal items that you can carry during your shift
