Home County Announces Next Artistic Director

Tim Fraser

Home County would like to welcome Tim Fraser to the team! While Darin Addison is overseeing his final Home County Music & Art Festival this summer, Tim will be by his side helping out and learning the ropes. When Darin leaves the organization in August, Tim will take over as Home County’s new Artistic Director.

Tim is a music industry professional, with over 7 years of experience programming music and entertainment events, managing bookings, volunteers and marketing artists across North America.

As an artist agent and manager, Tim is deeply entrenched in the music scene, with a specialization in the folk/roots genre. Tim’s introduction to roots music began with his job as Digital Marketing Manager at Canada’s oldest independent folk label, True North Records.

Tim’s profile in music has grown through board activity, industry memberships and attending music conferences across North America. He is well-versed in the current music scene, including a multitude of genres - from traditional to rock, country, hip-hop and more – and understands how these acts appeal to various audiences.

“I’m very excited to have been entrusted to contribute to one of London’s most beloved festivals,” said Tim.

“As a Londoner, I’ve attended Home County for as long as I can remember - I admire its history and hope to honour its legacy, while also hoping to bring a fresh perspective. The potential to expand on the programming is so rich, and I am looking forward to continuing the great work Darin Addison has done these last 5 years. There are numerous musical groups and artists who have not traditionally met the criteria of ‘folk,’ who are now within sight - and I look forward to bringing these exciting acts to London”.
