In the twelve years since the end of Prairie Oyster, frontman Russell deCarle has established himself as a rootsy, respected and compelling solo artist.
deCarle says he is "having more fun musically than I ever have".
"I feel I'm more creative than ever too, with my songwriting. I guess I have something to write about now. I've been at it for a while and have hopefully set a high bar for myself. I'm tempted to tell my own story for the rest of my career. I had a great time being in bands, but now it is my story."
